Birth of Annie Elizabeth Foster in FreeBMD in April-June 1870 in Wharfedale (9A 165). Copy of the Entry of Birth Number 124 of 1870 Yealdon, Wharfedale, Yorkshire: birth of Annie Elizabeth Foster on 18 May 1870 at Guiseley, father Joseph Foster, an overlooker at a woollen mill, and mother, Mary Ann Foster formerly Waterhouse. She was also the informant and made her mark on 22 June 1870.

In the 1871 census as Annie C (sic) Foster aged 11 months, born in Leeds, and living with her parents (Joseph and Mary Ann) at Netherfield, Guiseley, Yorkshire.

In the 1881 census as Hannah (sic) E Foster aged 10, born in Guiseley, and living with her parents (Joseph and Mary A) and sister (Lavinia) at 5 Gloucester Terrace, Wortley in Bramley. (Numbers 6 and 7 were uninhabited.)

In the 1891 census as Annie Foster aged 20, single, born in Guisley (sic), employed as a teacher of music, and living with her mother (Mary Ann), sister (Levenia - sic) and grandmother (Fanny Waterhouse) at Cambridge House, Bramley. Hargrave Smith aged 72, born in Bramley, and employed as a farmer and his wife Betsey aged 70, and born in Bramley were also living at Cambridge House.

Marriage of Annie Elizabeth Foster to William Clemishaw Leslie in FreeBMD in October-December in Bramley District (9b 601). Marriage certificate 121 - marriage of Annie Elizabeth Foster aged 24 to William Clemishaw Leslie aged 23 at the New Baptist Chapel, Bramley on 19 December 1894. She was living at Cambridge House, Bramley and her father, Joseph Foster, was a commercial traveller. The marriage was witnessed by Joseph Foster, Vinnie Foster, Clara Wilson and one other.

Her son as born on 24 October 1895 and registered in October-December 1895 in Bramley.

Her son was born on 18 May 1897 in Armley, and registered in July-September 1897 in Bramley.

They lived at 184 Tong Road, Leeds between 1897-1899.

In the 1911 census as Annie Elizabeth Leslie aged 40, born in Guiseley, Yorkshire, married for sixteen years with four children, all still living, and living with her husband (William Clemishaw), three sons (Alce Dancan, Donald Stuart and Joseph) and daughter (Phyllis Margaret) at 57 Warbeck Drive, Busham, Blackpool, Lancashire. Fylde, Lancashire.

Annie E Leslie was the informant on the death certificate of her father who died on 10 May 1919 at Olive House, Westfield, Yeadon when she was living at 26 Breck Road, Blackpool. Her father left effects of £1245 0s. 9d to Annie Elizabeth Leslie (wife of William Leslie) and Lavinia Smail (wife of Walter Smail).

In the 1921 census as Annie E Leslie aged 51 years 1 month, born in Guiseley, Yorkshire, and living with her husband (William), two sons (Donald S and Joseph) and daughter (Phyllis M)) at 66 Dickinson Road, Blackpool, Lancashire.

In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Annie E Leslie born 18 May 1870, married and living with William C Leslie (husband?) at 8 Pelham Avenue, Blackpool, Lancashire.

Receipt for £7 14s 6d for the freehold of grave 490E in the non-conformist portion of Carleton Cemetery on 2 May 1945 paid by Annie Elizabeth Leslie.

Lived at Whitegate Drive and Bermersyde, Bispham Road, Blackpool, and between 1940 and 1953 at 8 Pelham Avenue, Layton.

Her husband died at 8 Pelham Avenue Blackpool on 25 March 1945 and left effects of £195 13s. 11d. to Annie Elizabeth Leslie widow."

Death of Annie E Leslie in FreeBMD in July-September 1953 aged 83 in Blackpool (10B 378). Death certificate 251 in Blackpool district states Annie Elizabeth Leslie died on 12 August 1953 at 8 Pelham Avenue aged 83, widow of William Clemishaw Leslie, watchmaker and jeweller. She died of cerebral thombosis. The informant was her son Alec D Lesie of 55 Westcliffe Drive Blackpool and the death was registered on 13 August.

Buried at Carleton Cemetery, Blackpool in plot E 490 which was purchased by her for her heirs and assigns. In gold on black granite:
