Birth of Amos Lawson Adams in FreeBMD in January-March 1846 in Henstead (13 167) which included Shotesham St Mary.
In the 1851 census as Amos S Admas aged 5, born in Shotesham St Mary, Norfolk, and living with his parents (Amos and Elizabeth), and two sisters (Alice S and Ellen E) at The Street, Shotesham All Saints, Norfolk.
In the 1861 census as Ames (sic - on the original) L Adams, aged 15, born in Shotesham, employed as a miller, and living with his parents (Ames and Elizabeth), and two bothers (Alfred J and George) at Hellesdon, Norwich, Norfolk.
His mother died 1861-1866 and his father married Phoebe Ward in 1866.
Marriage of Amos Lawson Adams and Emma Nobbs in FreeBMD in January-March 1870 in Loddon (4b 353). There is another identical entry (also on the original) for Amos Lawson.
In the 1871 census as Lawson Adams aged 24, born in Shottesham, Norfolk, employed as a miller, and living with his wife (Emma) at Lammas With Little Hautbois, Norfolk.
From the birth of his children he appears to have lived in Norwich until after 1874, moving to Durham before 1876, and to Brixton between 1878 and 1880, and perhaps to Loddon by 1881 where his wife and children were living with her parents in the census and where Angelina was born. However I cannot find an entry in the 1881 census for either Amos or his son Henry Jonathan. His last daughter was born in Castle Rising.
In the 1891 census as Lawson Adams aged 45, born in Norwich, Norfolk, employed as a flour miller, and living with his wife (Emma), four sons (Alfred, George, Henry and Walter) and two daughters (Angelina and Florence) at Great Ryburgh, Norfolk.
Death of Lawson Adams in FreeBMD in January-March 1895 in Walsingham (4b 217) which included Great Ryburgh
