Birth of Angelina Mary Adams in the IGI on 11 April 1881 and her christening on 7 August 1881 in Loddon, Norfolk, parents Amos Lawson and Emma Adams.
Her younger sister was born in Castle Rising in 1883 so the family may have moved there.
In the 1891 census as Angelina Adams aged 10, born in Loddon, Norfolk, and living with her parents (Lawson and Emma), four brothers (Alfred, George, Henry and Walter) and sister (Florence) at Great Ryburgh, Norfolk.
Her father died in 1895.
In the 1901 census as Angeline (sic - in the index, correct on the original) Mary Adams, aged 21, born in Loddon, Norfolk, and employed as a palourmaid with Frances Louis Stoff (aged 53, born in Haslingden, Lancashire, single and living on her own means) and a cook (Florence Jessie Cave aged 37, born in Old Ford, London and single) at Flat 31, Richmond Road Mansions, Earls Court, Brompton, Kensington, London.
