In the 1881 census as Anne (sic) Luff aged 65, born in Frensam, Surrey and living with her husband (Thomas), son (Edwin) and daughter (Amy) at New House, Elstead, Surrey. The New House is between Pitch Place and Houndown, and Pitch Place is on the border of Elstead, Thursley and Churt.
Her husband died in Farnham in 1887 and left Ann Luff of Thursley Widow the Relict £419 1s 3d.
