Her daughter was born in Cheapside, London, Middlesex in about 1811, but not christened until 19 January 1819 at St Nicholas, Nottingham when they were living in Chesterfield Street.

In the 1841 census as Sarah Empson aged 45 (rounded down to a multiple of 5), born in Nottinghamshire (sic), and living with her husband? (William) and grandson? (Horatio) at Edward Street, Nottingham.

Entry in FreeBMD for the death of Sarah Empson in April-June 1852 in Nottingham (7b 146). On a copy of the entry of death number 389 in 1852 in Castle, Nottingham it states Sarah Empson, wife of William Empson, a framesmith, died on 9 June 1852 at Orchard Place aged 63 of Phthisis Pulmonalis (from Antiquus Morbus Phthisis is an archaic name for tuberculosis). The informant was H T Stubbs (her grandson) who was present at the death, which was registered on 11 June 1852.

Note that there is a Whiting Street in Bury St. Edmunds between Abbeygate Steet and Westgate Street.
