The same information is in the Calverley Parish Records adding his father lived in Pudsey and it was at Pudsey All Saints Chapel.

"Baptisms Anno Dom 1715 [...] Novb [this section is almost illegible and the month is determined by the number of the days] 31 Stephen ? of John Swithenbank of ? ? Bapt".

One spells his surname Swhitenbank born about 1717 in in Pudsey, Calverley, Yorkshire but does not give a location for the marriage. Another two give the location in Calverley, Yorkshire.

Calverley Parish Records contain an entry for the marriage of Stephen Swithenbank and Judith Gaunt, both of this parish, at St Wilfrids on 29 August 1742.

There is an entry in Calverley Wills for the will of Abimelech Hainsworth, a clothier of Farsley, dated 22 September 1770 and proved 28 April 1776 where the bequests to his children (Abimelech, Mary, Martha and John) include "Property and land at Owle Coats hill Pudsey (presently occupied by Stephen Swithenbank)"
