Birth of John Swithinbanck in the IGI on 30 May 1681, and his christening on 9 June 1681 at St Peter, Leeds, Yorkshire, father Francis Swithinbanck. There are also two submitted entries for the christening of John Swidenbank on 30 May 1681 at Hilhousbanks, Leeds, father Francis Swidenbank. There is also a submitted entry for the birth of John Swithinbank in Pudsey, Yorkshire although there is no evidence of the family in Calverley parish this early.

A brother and sister were also born at Hill House Bank in 1684 and 1689.

There are two submitted entries in the IGI for the marriage of John Swithenbank and Sarah Raper on 3 June 1706 in Yorkshire, one specifying Calverley.

Similar information is in the Calverley Parish Records adding it was at St Wifrids and John was of Pudsey.

The children were born in Pudsey.

His wife was buried on 1 July 1751 at St Wilfrids.

There is an entry in the Calverley Parish Records for the burial of John Swithenbank, a labourer of Pudsey at St Wilfrids on 30 August 1751.

There are two entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees for the birth of John Swithenbank in Pudsey, Yorkshire in 1696 ( I can find no other evidence for this), his marriage to Sarah Raper in 1721 and a son John. Another submitted entry gives his birth in 1680 in Pudsey, his marriage to Sarah Raper 1706 in Calverley, and a son Stiphen.

Pudsey was part of the parish of Calverley and is about 6 miles west of Leeds.

Relationship

John Swithenbank was Felicity's sixth great grandfather.
