She was aged 24, a spinster living at 37 Mere Road, Blackpool, and her father was George Stubbs, a removal expert. Her sister Eva Stubbs was a witness.
From newspaper advertisement for her wedding: Grace Stubbs daughter of Mr and Mrs G Stubbs, 37 Mere Road and Joseph F Leslie of Mr and Mrs W C Leslie Bermersyde, Bispham Road. Grace was a member of Blackpool Amateur Symphony Orchestra. The bridesmaid was Eva Stubbs (her sister).
