Two entries in the Sussex Family History Group Sussex Marriage Index, one for an Archdeaconry of Chichester Marriage Licence dated 30 August 1793 for Ann Payne aged 22 and a spinster of Rogate and John Neale aged 30 and a bachelor and gent of Bramshott sponsored by JN and JN George, and another for the marriage of Ann Payne of ths parish and John Neale, a bachelor of Bramshott by licence on 19 September 1793 in Rogate and witnessed by Edwd Collins, Sar P, and Betsy Mellersh. I assume Sar P refers to her sister Sarah Payne.
There is also an entry in Bramshott Marriage Licences for Ann Payne of Rogate, Sussex and John Neale of Bramshott by licence and witnessed by Edward Collins, Sarah Payne and Betsey Mellersh on 19 September 1793.
Her daughter was born in Bramshott.
