"[...] John Neale of the Parish of Bramshott Bachelor and Anne Payne of the Parish of Rogate were married in this Church by Licence from the Bishop of Chichester this nineteenth day of September 1793 This marriage was solemnized between us [both signed their names] In presence of us Edward Collins, Sarah Payne, Betsey Mellersh [all signed their names].

His daughter was baptised on 30 Oct 1794 at St Mary the Virgin, Bramshott.

Entry in Ancestry for the burial of John Neale on 2 April 1829 aged 66 in Bramshott. "Page 26 Burials in the Parifh of Bramshot in the County of Southampton in the Year 1828 [...] 1829 [...] John Neale [not numbered but between 206 and 207] [of] Hewshott Hill [on] April 2nd [aged] 66 years".

Hants., carpenter, aged 85, that John Neale was occupier of property as in Add Mss 9843, in succession to John Andrew who was the owner in 1764 Add Mss 9863 23 May 1829 - this refers to a messuage with barn, edifices, buildings, orchards, gardens, gaterooms, and thirteen closes (40a.) called Longhurst alias Guns in Lepehooke [Liphook] in Bramshott, co. Hants., now in occ. of Daniel Hounsham.

Lease for 99 years at an annual rent of 1s. Consideration 2 Add Mss 10,050 20 May 1799 Contents: James, Lord Selsey, lord of the manor of Stedham, to James Piggott, sen., of Binderton, gent. and James Piggott, jun., of Fitzhall in Iping, gent., trustees for the parish of Stedham Cottage and plot of ground in Stedham now used as a poor-house for the parish of Stedham In consideration of an annual rent of 1s., and a further 1s. each on the deaths of the said James Piggott, sen., John Neale, of Bramshott, co.
