I cannot locate a registration of birth or a christening - some put her birth as early as 1835.
In the 1841 census as Jane Mitchurst (sic - in the index, possibly Mitchener on the original) aged 5, born in Surrey, and living with George and Mary (parents?), Michael (brother?) and Emily (sister?) at Pitehill? Ewhurst, Surrey (north of the Cranley-Ockley Road).
In the 1851 census as Jane Mitchem (sic - in the index, Michener on the original) aged 16, born in Ewhurst, Surrey, single, no stated employment, and living with her parents (George and Mary) in Ewhurst, Surrey. Her brother James and family were living next door.
There are two entries in FreeBMD for the marriage of Jane Mitchener and George Punter in January-March 1854 in Hambledon (2a 96) and in April-June 1854 in Hambledon (2a 109) - both are on the handwritten orginals.

I cannot locate the death of her husband.
In the 1871 census as Jane Pinyer (sic - in the index, Punter on the original) aged 37, born in Ewhurst, Surrey, widowed, and a housekeeper living with her son (Joseph) and daughter (Ann) with John Burnett (aged 61, born in East Meon, Hampshire, widowed and a publican), and some 16 boarders at the East Street Tavern, East Street, Farrnham, Surrey.
The father of James born in 1876 and Mary in 1879 is unknown, but I assume was James Aldred as they were born in Dockenfield.
In the 1881 census as Jane Punter aged 45, born in Ewurst (sic), Surrey), widowed, and boarding with her son (James E) and daughter (Mary J) with James Aldred (her future husband?), and his nephew (William Boonner) at Batts Corner, Dockenfield, Hampshire.
