I cannot find any information regarding his second wife except that from the 1939 register she was born on 6 October 1867 and was a nurse, the entries in the Electoral Registers and Probate, and her death in October-December 1954 in Bromley.

A bible rescued from a house clearance contains the following in the front cover:

Sydenham and Lewisham were transfered from Kent to London in 1889.
