Notes

I assume from the christening entry that her father was Harry Heather in which case her parents did not marry, but she was born about the same time that John and Charlotte Fullick separated so she may be a true Fullick (I have assumed that is not the case in the following).

Birth of Caroline Fullick in FreeBMD in July-September 1887 in Alton (2c 160).

Entry in Headley Baptisms for Caroline Heather Fullick born 27 May 1887 baptised 11 January 1891, parents John, a labourer, and Charlotte Fullick of Lindford, an added note states technically correct; but as a fact Mrs Fullick is living with Henry Heather. Caroline is like the Fullick family, but Harry is unmistakably a Heather.

Entry in Ancestry Surrey, England, Church of England Baptisms, 1813-1912 for Caroline Heather Fullick, on 11 January 1891 at Headley, All Saints, parents John and Charlotte Fullick. "Page 73 Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Headley in the County of Southampton in the years One thousand eight hundred and ninety & ninetyone [...] 1891 Jan 11 No. 582 Caroline Heather d. of Born 27.5.87 John, a Labourer of Lindford and Charlotte Fullick. [Harry Heather Fullick with same parents was baptised in the next entry on the same date. A note at the bottom of the page for both entries states] The entries 582, 583 are technically correct, but as a fact Mrs Fullick is now living with Harry Heather. No. 582 is like the Fullick family, but No. 383 is unmistakeably Heather."

In the 1891 census as Sarah Fullick aged 3, born in Headley, Hampshire, and living with her parents (Harry Heather and Charlotte Fullick), brother (Harry Fullick) and (half)sister (Elizebeth Fullick) in Lindford, Headley, Hampshire.

Her sister (by Henry) was born 28 October 1900 in Lindford.

In the 1901 census as Sarah Furtick (sic - in the index, Fullick on the original) aged 13, born in Headley, Hampshire, and living with her parents (Harry Heather and Charlotte Furtick), three brothers (Albert, Charles and Henry all with surnamd Furtick), sister (Maud Alice, both with surname Furtick), (half)sister (Edith Furtick), and (half-neice) (Beatrice Furtick) at Lindford Cross Roads, Headley, Hampshire.

Marriage of Sarah Caroline Heather and Thomas Horatio Nelson in FreeBMD in July-September 1908 in Alton (2c 4135).

Entry in Ancestry Surrey, England, Church of England Marriages, 1754-1937 for Sarah Caroline Heather aged 21 and Thomas Horatio Nelson on 22 August 1908 at Headley, All Saints. "Page 16 1908. Marriage solemnized at the parish church in the parish of Headley in the County of Southampton. [No.] 31 August 22 1908 Thomas Horatio Nelson [aged] 22 [a] Bachelor [and] Bombardier R.F.A. [of] Bordon, Headley [father] Edward Nelson deceased, [and] Sarah Caroline Heather [aged] 21 [a] Spinster [of] Lindford Headley. Married in the parish church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the established church after banns [...] in the Presence of us Frederick Albert Fullick and Emily Martha Fullick." Frederick Albert Fullick was the second cousin of her mother's husband John Fullick, and Emily Martha his wife.

Her son was born on Bordon in 1908, but the birth was not registered until 1954.

In the 1911 census as Sarah Caroline Nelson aged 23, born in Bordon, Hants, married for three years with one child still living, and living with her husband (Thomas Horatis) and son (Thomas Horatis) in two rooms at 15 Ewart Road, Seaforth, Lancashire.

Her daughter was born on 6 November 1911 in Headley, mother's maiden name Heather, and was buried 30 May 1912 when the family were living at Lindford Chase, Headley.

In the 1921 census as Sarah C Nelson born in Hampshire in 1888 and living with Thomas H Nelson (husband?), Albert Heather (brother?) and Lizzie Heather (sister-in-law?) in Headley Neatham, Alton, Hampshire.

In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Sarah C Nelson born 24 May 1887, married and living with Thomas Nelson (husband?), Albert E Gardener, Albert E Gardener, Eliza L Strudwick and two others at Parrfield 2 New Cottages, Petersfield, Hampshire.

Ten entries in Ancestry Family Trees for Sarah Caroline Fullick or Heather.

Entry in WikiTree Caroline Heather (Fullick) Nelson (1887), daughter of Daughter of John Fullickand Charlotte (Whiting) Fullick, Sister of Edith Elizabeth (Whiting) Gardiner, George Fullick, Rose Fullick, InfantMale Fullick, Harry Heather (Fullick) Heather, Charles (Fullick) Heather [half], Albert (Fullick) Heather [half] and Maud Alice (Fullick) Heather [half], her marriage to Thomas Horatio Nelson on 22 August 1908 in Headley, Hampshire, and mother of Mother of Thomas Horatio Nelson and Isabella Charlotte Nelson. It would seem that she was registered as Caroline, baptised as Caroline Heather but known as Sarah Caroline. The baptism shows John Fullick as the father but the use of the name Heather suggests otherwise. She uses the name Heather as her maiden name on her marriage, but no father shown.
