In the 1881 census as Emily J Davis aged 17, born in Breage, Cornwall, and a servant living with Joseph Dash (aged 46, born in Penzance, Cornwall and a general merchant), his wife (Sarah A aged 35 and born in Lanelly, Wales), two sons (Joseph G aged 12 and Fredrick J aged 9, both born in Penzance, Cornwall) and two daughters (Selina aged 5 and Ethel J aged 4, both born in Penzance, Cornwall) at 5 Alma Terrace, Madron, Madron, Penzance, Cornwall.
Her daughter was born on 29 March 1885 in Claygate, Surrey but I cannot find a registration for her birth.

No. 287 Sept 13th 1885 James Westaway aged 22, a Bachelor and Labourer of 7 Sherwood St, father Alfred William Westaway, a Platelayer, and Emily Jane Davis aged 20, a Spinster of 7 Sherwood St, father Thomas Davis, a Miner [He made his mark] in the Presence of us Charles Westaway and Eliza Westaway."
