There were several other Croucher's on the same sailing - Thos aged 35, Wm aged 29 (first Cousin?), Alice (wife?) aged 28, Walter aged 4 and Emily (no age), and Jas (aged 20 brother?) and Dani (aged 18) Croucher.
His son and daughter were born in Canada circa 1874 and 1875 from the census entries, but his second daughter was registered in July-September 1876 in Alton.
