From my father's records: Spent her early life at Belvedere, Kent where her father was an London County Council official. She came to Churt as nurse-governess to the family of Mr Ainslie of The Chase. She lived at Ingledene, Churt throughout her married life. She was in the auxilary fire service in the war.
I have no memories of her as I was farmed out to uncles/aunts when she was ill with breast cancer.
