In the 1841 census as Ann Clemitshaw (sic - on the original) aged 25 (rounded down to a muliple of 5), born in Yorkshire, living with John and Ruth Brown (parents?), Elizabeth, Jabez, and Mary Brown (sisters?), and George and William Clemitshaw (sons?) at Uppleby, Easingwold, Yorkshire. Her husband was living at Castlegate, Knaresborough, Yorkshire.
On a copy of Entry 115 in the 1841 Knaresborough Register of Births, Ann Clemishaw formerly Brown was the mother of Ann Clemishaw born on 16 August 1841 at Castle Gates, Knaresborough, Yorkshire.

(Scriven is on the north side of Knaresborough).

On a copy of the Entry of Death Number 467 in 1885 in the district of Knaresborough Ann Clemishaw died on 24 June 1885 at Gracious Street, Knaresborough aged 72. She was the widow of William Clemishaw, a shoemaker. She died of Morbis Cordis (sic - Morbus Cordis or heart disease) Symcope (sic - Syncope or failure of the blood supply). The informant was J T Clemishaw, her son, who was present at the death and also lived at Gracious Street, Knaresborough, and the death was registered on 26 June 1885.

"Cliemnishaw Ann Personal Estate £89 9s. 10d. 12 August. The Will of Ann Clemishaw late of Knaresborough in the County of York Widow who died 24 June 1885 at Knaresborough was proved at the Pricipal Registry by John Thomas Clemishaw of Knaresborough Cashier the Son the sole Executor".

Mark Regan adds her marriage to William Clemishaw, nine children!, and her death on 24 June 1885 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire. Dave Kirk has similar information for Anne Brown with the same 9 children but different dates for their birth, and adds her mother's name as Ruth.
