Birth of Emily Baker in FreeBMD in April-June 1873 in Farnham (2A 105) - note Haslemere was in Hambledon, not Farnham, and I assume she was actually born in Shottermill which was part of Frensham parish.

Her brother Maurice was also born in Haslemere in 1877, and sister Mary Ann in Farnham in 1880.

In the 1881 census as Emily Baker aged 7, born in Haslemere, Surrey, and living with her parents (Albert and Mary A), two brothers (Edwin J and Maurice ) and four sisters (Angelina, Ellen, Mary A and Matilda K) at 5 Blount Cottages, Union Road, Farnham, Surrey.

Her brother Albert was born in Farnham in 1884 and sister Edith in Richmond in 1890.

I cannot find the family in the 1891 census.

In the 1901 census as Emily Baker aged 27, born in Frensham, Surrey, single, no stated employment and living with her parents (Albert and Mary Ann), three brothers (Albert E, Edwin John and Maurue) and two sisters (Edith E and Mary Ann) at 20 Crown Terrace, Richmond, Surrey.

Entry in Ancestry Surrey, England, Marriages, 1754-1937 for Emily Baker aged 28, father Albert Baker, and Arthur John Sims, father John Sims, on 25 May 1901 at Richmond, Holy Trinity. "1901 Marriage solemnized at Holy Trinity Church in the Parish of Holy Trinity Richmond in the County of Surrey. No 462 May 25 1901 Arthur John Sims aged 31, a Bachelor and Police Constable of 20 Crown Terrace, father John Sims, a game keeper, and Emily Baker aged 28, a Spinster of 20 Crown Terrace, father Albert Baker, a Porter [...] in the Presence of William J Lyadiard and Ellen Baker".

Her daughter was born on 16 March 1902 at 34 Kingston Road, Ilford, Essex, UK and registered in April-June 1902 in Romford.

Her son was born on 23 August 1903 and registered in July-September 1903 in Romford, and baptised on 27 September 1903 at St John the Devine, Richmond when they were living at 34 Kingston Road, Ilford.

Her husband died on 10 July 1905 in Cambridge Drive, Ilford, was buried on 14 July 1905 St Mary the Virgin, Great Ilford, and left £145 14s. 1d to Emily Sims widow

I cannot find her in the 1911 census - her son was living with Emily's brother Maurice Baker in St Helier, Jersey, and her daughter was living with Emily's parents in Richmond.

Death of Emily Syms in FreeBMD in April-June 1958 aged 85 in Surrey Mid E (5G 280).

Entry in Ancestry England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966 for Emily Syms died 16 April 1958 Surrey, probate 28 May 1958 London. "Syms Emily of 42 Ennerdale Road Richmond, Surrey widow died 16 April 1958 at Hundred Acres Banstead Surrey Probate London 28 May to Arthur John Syms motor engineer. Effects 466 16s. 8d."

There are two entries in Ancestry Public Member Trees for Emily Baker born in 1874 in Frensham, Surrey, parents Albert Baker and Mary Ann Dunce, and another for her birth in 1873, hr marriage to Arthur John Sims in 1901 and her two children.

Susan F Belsey has an entry for Emily Baker born in 1874 in Haslemere, Surrey, parents Albert and Mary Ann Baker.

Relationship

Emily Baker was my half second cousin twice removed.
