Her sister were born in Kirdford but baptised in Fittleworth on 12 August 1888, and second sister in Fittleworth on 3 August 1890 when they were living in Fittleworth.

In the 1891 census as Harriet E White aged 5, born in Kirdford, Sussex, and living with her parents (Alfred and Harriet) brother (Alfred) and two sisters (Minnie E and Rosa L) in Little Bognor, Fittleworth, Sussex.

[No.] 275 June 12th Charles Fry [aged] 21 [a] Bachelor [and] Labourer [of] West Chillington [father] Henry Fry [a] Labourer, [and] Harriett White [aged] 23 [a] Spinster [of] West Chillington [father] Alfred White [a] Carpenter. Married in the Parish Church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church [...] in the Presence of us Bernard Hard [and] Daisy White". Her sister Minnie Emily married Bernard Hard in the next entry dated 24 July 1909.

Her daughter was baptised on 31 Oct 1909 in West Chiltington whenthey were living in Pulborough.

Her son was born 12 March 1911 in West Chiltington.

In the 1911 census as Harriett Fry aged 25, born in Wisborough Green, Sussex, married for two years with two children, both living, and living with her husband (Charles) and son (Alfred Charles) all boarding with her brother-in-law (Bernard Hards aged 26, born in Billingshurst, Sussex, and a traction engine driver), her sister (Minnie Emily Hards aged 22 and born in Wisborough Green, Sussex) and nephew (Bernard George Hards aged four months and born in West Chiltington, Sussex) in three rooms at Style House, West Chiltington, Pulborough, Sussex. I cannot locate her daughter.

Her son was baptised on 9 July 1911 in West Chiltington when they were living in Nutbourne, Pullborough.

Her two sons were born in Petworth in 1913 and 1915, and daughter in Thakeham in 1920.

In her husband's Service Records 1914-1920 they were living in Byeworth, Petworth, Sussex, married in West Chillington, Sussex on 12 June 1909, children Minnie Harriett born 5 July 1909 in Thakenham and Alfred Charles born 12 March 1911 in Thakenham, and added later Peter born 17 January 1915 and George born 3 April 1913. There is a declaration that his discharge papers were lost by being destroyed by being burnt unaware of what it was by his daughter dated 17 February 1938 when he was living at 190 Oving Road, Chichester.

In the 1921 census as Harriett Fry born in Petworth, Sussex in 1886, and living with Catherine Fry (sic - husband?), Alfred, George and Peter Fry (sons?), and Annie and Minnie Fry (daughters?) in Billingshurst, Horsham, Sussex.

Her daughters were born in Horsham in 1922 and in Thakenham in 1927.

In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Harriett E Fry born 30 March 1886, married, and living with Charles Fry (husband?), and Annie and Edith M Fry (daughters?) at 2 Phillpott Cottages, North Bersted Street, Chichester, Sussex.

Her husband died in January-March 1956 in Eastbourne.
