Except from an email from John Ernest Shrubb. "On 20th April 1946 Pamela married Robert Jack Wheeler at Reading Register Office. On 11th December 1948 I was born & registered in the sub-district of Caversham, Reading as Roger Phillip Wheeler, the birth certificate list's Robert Jack Wheeler as my Father, but this entry is not true, in 1989 I traced Pamela & she told me the truth of how I came about. Her first born was Diane Margaret, her Father being Robert Jack Wheeler. This was not a happy marriage & Pamela had an affair with the owner of the local grocer's shop, Horace Fullbrook who was my Father. Robert J. Wheeler discovered that he was not my Father & gave Pamela an ultimatum - either I go or Pamela must go. Pamela took me to a run down cheap rental property, Jack kept custody of Diane at his home."
Robert Jack Wheeler was the husband of Pamela Jean Skidmore, mother of Roger Phillip Wheeler (John Ernest Shrubb), my adopted fourth cousin via his adopted father Frank Ernest Shrubb, my third cousin once removed.
