In the 1871 census as Marian Henriette West aged 16, born in Churton, Surrey, and living with her unmarried mother (Francis E??), and three brothers (Henry Lancaster, Renwick (Kenric) Felix and York George) at Burnt ? Hill (next Devils Jumps), Churt, Frensham, Surrey.

In the 1881 census as Marion H Marden aged 26, born in Churt, Surrey, and living her husband (James), son (Reginald J) and two daughters (Mildred and Kathleen B) who were living with her grandmother (Frances E West) and uncle (Harry E West) in Whitmore, Churt, Frensham Surrey. There were four other families at ths address which is between Green Cross and Jumps House. This implies it was The Barracks but the house order is then strange.
In the 1891 census as Marian Henrietta Marden aged 36, born in Surrey, and living with her husband (James), two sons (Henry and Reginald), and three daughters (Agnes, Kathleen and Mildred) at Beach Cottage, Churt, Frensham (at the Pride end of Hale House Lane).
In the 1901 census as Marian Marden aged 46, born in Frensham, Surrey, and living with her husband (James), two sons (Henry and Reginald), and two daughters (Agnes and Kathleen) in 4 rooms at at Beeches Cott, Shant Lane (old name for Hale House Lane, Shant being what is now known as the Crossways, "Shan't" being "the most frequent phrase on the lips of the innkeeper's wife" - 100 Years in Churt by U H S Snow about 1970 page 8).
