On a copy of the Entry of Birth number 26 on page 6 of book 123 in Cheetham, Manchester birth of Eva May Stubbs on 23 June 1906 at 11 Shaw Street, Cheetham, North Manchester, father George Stubbs, a general carrier, mother Florrie Stubbs formerly Belton who was the informant on 26 July 1906.

Her sister was born on 1 May 1909 at 11 Shaw Street, Cheetham, and was registered in in April-June 1909 in Prestwich.

In the 1911 census as Eva Stubbs aged 4, born in Manchester, Lancashire, and living with her parents (George and Florrie), brother (Reginald), sister (Grace) and a servant (Rose Maquire aged 17 and born in Manchester, Lancashire) in six rooms at 11 Shaw St, Cheetham, North Manchester, Lancashire.

Her twin brother and sister were born on 10 November 1911 at 11 Shaw Street, Cheetham, Manchester and registered in October-December 1911 in Prestwich.

The family moved to Blackpool in about 1918.

She was bridesmaid at her sister Grace's wedding on 28 April 1934.

In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Eva Stubbs born in 1856 (sic - in the index, 23 J 06 on the original), single, and living with Florrie and George Stubbs (parents?), Norman Stubbs (brother?) and Ivy Stubbs (sister?) at 18 Raikes Parade, Blackpool, Lancashire.

She lived with her mother and sister (Ivy) at 5 Norwood Road, St Annes-on-Sea and was a skilled tailoress running her own business.

Death of Eva M Stubbs in FreeBMD in July-September 1954 aged 47 in Fylde (10C 202).

On a copy of the Entry of Death number 263 in Lytham St Annes for Eva May Stubbs at the War Memorial Hospital, St Annes on the Sea, on 28 July 1954 aged 48 of 5 Norwood Road, St Annes-on-Sea, a spinster, dressmaker and daughter of George William Henry Stubbs, a removal contracter deceased. R Stubbs, her brother, of 38 Leicester Road, Blackpool was in attendance and was the informant on 29 July 1954. Death was due to Auricular Fibrillation and Mitral Stenosis.

Buried in Carlton Cemetery "In Loving/Memory of/My Dear Husband/George W.H.Stubbs/Died Feb. 21st 1941/Aged 67 Years/Also Florrie/Wife of the Above/Dired March 21st 1962/Aged 85 Years/Also Eva May/Daughter of the Above/Died July 28th 1957".
