I am not sure of their sex or name, but assume the following must apply to the same person.
There is an entry for the birth of James Shrubb in FreeBMD in October-December 1865 in Worthing (2b 301) which included Arundel until 1869. He is not in the 1871 census nor in the Register of Deaths.
There is an entry for the christening of Jane Shrubs (female) in the IGI on 28 January 1866 in Arundel, Sussex, parents Job and Jane (sic) Shrubs. The same information is in Ancestry England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975 plus a similar entry but 25 January 1866.
In the 1871 census there is an entry for Tern (could be Jam on the original) Shrubb aged 6, male and a son, born in Arundel, Sussex, and living with his parents (Job and Ann), and three brothers (Charles, John and William) in Appledram, Sussex.
In the 1881 census there is an entry for Jean Shrub (clearly written, female and a daughter) aged 15, born in Arundel, Sussex and living with her parents (Job and Ann), and three brothers (Charles, John and William), in Malvern Cottages, Wick, Leominster, Sussex (this address was shared with another family). I suspect this is Lyminster on A284 north of Wick.
Their mother died in 1882 and father in 1884, both in East Preston.
I can find any later information.
Jane Shrubb was my second cousin twice removed.
