In the 1841 census as George Pullen aged 60 (rounded down to nearest multiple of 5, but still 5 years out), born in Surrey, employed as an agricultural labourer, and living with George Puller (sic) (his son?), Mary Ann Puller (sic) (daughter in law), William and Thomas Pullen (grandsons?), and Mary Ann Pullen (granddaughter?) at Linkfield Street, Reigate Foreign, Surrey.

In the 1851 census as George Pullin (sic - on the original as well as in the index), aged 76, born in Reigate, Surrey, a widower, employed as a tanner, and a lodger with Susan Belcliff (a widow aged 73 born in Worth, Sussex) and two other lodgers (James Nicolson aged 34, born in London and employed as railway porter and Charles Charwood aged 32, born in Redhill and employed as a carpenter) in Lingfield (sic - should this be Linkfield as on the enumeration description?) Street, Reigate, Surrey).
