Christening of Levi Luff in the IGI on 29 January 1837 in Frensham, Surrey, parents Edward Luff and Harriett Croucher. There is also an entry in West Surrey Family History Society Frensham Baptisms for Levi Luff/Croucher son of Edward Luff and Harriet Croucher 29 January 1837. His parents did not marry until 4 March 1837.

In the 1841 census as Levi Luff aged 4, born in Surrey, and living with his Edward (father?), Hariott (mother?) and Hariott (sister?) at Houndown, Pitchplace, Elstead, Surrey.

In the 1851 census as Levi Luff aged 14, born in Frensham, and living with his parents (Edward and Harriett), brother (William), and three sisters (Elizabeth, Harriett, and Martha) at Cox Heath, Crondall, Hampshire.

Marriage of Levi Luff and Ann Marshall in the IGI on 26 December 1860 at Frensham, Surrey. There is also an entry in the Register of Marriages for Levi Luff in October-December 1860 in Farnham (2a 122).

His son was born on 22 March 1861, registered in April-July 1861 in Farnham with middle name Leaten or Leaven, privately baptised 7 April 1861 and received into the church 28 April 1861 with surname Marshall, when he was a labourer living in Frensham.

In the 1861 census as Levi Luff aged 25, born in Frensham and living with his wife (Ann), son (William L) and parents-in-law (Elisha and Louisa Marshall) and Ann's sister (Eliza Marshall) at Shortfield Common, Frensham, Surrey.

Death of Levi Luff in FreeBMD in April-June 1865 in Farnham (2a 64). There is also an entry in West Surrey Family History Society West Surrey Burials for Levi Luff in 1865 aged 28 in Frensham.

His wife is a widow in the 1871 census.
