Submitted entry in the IGI for the marriage of David Leslie and Agnes Spankie on 19 November 1742 in Lundie And Fowlis, Angus while another three entries give it on 23 October 1742 in Lundie. The entry in Scotlands People gives 19 November 1742 for the marriage of David Leslie and Agnes Spankie in Lundie and Fowlis.
There are two unnamed children in submitted entries in the IGI and Scotlands People in 1743 and 1745. There is also a submitted entry in the IGI for George or Lawrence in 1743 - I assume that one of these was called George and the other Lawrence. There is another in Scotlands People in 1749, but the fathers first name is not given.
All the children were born at Muirside, Kettins.
There is an entry for the marriage of David Leslie and Margaret Sheddan in the IGI on 4 December 1772 in Kettins. The same information is in Scotlands People. From this I assume that Agnes had died. David and Margaret had one daughter in Kettins.
Kettins is 1 mile SE of Coupar Angus which is 15 miles NW of Dundee, and is now in Perth and Kinross, the boundary between Perthshire and Angus changing in 1891. Lundie is 5 miles SE of Kettins, Fowlis a further mile on the south side of the A923.
David Leslie was Felicity's fourth great grandfather.
