There is also a submitted entry for the birth of David Leslay on 17 June 1692 at Loan-Head Kilour, Kettins, Angus, parents David and Janet Leslay. The entry in Scotlands People reads: June 27 1692 "David Leslay and Janet Dick of the Loan-Head of Kilour had a male child baptised called David".
There is a submitted entry in the IGI for the marriage of David Leslay, parents David and Janet Leslay and Margaret Scrumger in 1719 in Balldowry, Kettins, Angus, Scotland. There is also a submitted entry for David Lesly and Margaret Scrimger in about 1713 in Newtyle, Angus.
The first two children were christened in Newtyle where the parents lived at the Hill of Keiler (Kilour or Keillor which is just SW of Newtyle) and the last four in in Kettins where the parents lived at Muirfolds.
Entry in Scotlands People for the burial of David Leslie on 17 September 1771 in Kettins, Angus. The entry in Kettins Burials 1771 reads "Sept 17 David Leslie in Ketins aged 80 of a fever".
Kettins is just of the A923 and Newtyle is some 4 miles east on B954. Keillor is midway between the two. All are about 15 miles NW of Dundee.David Leslie was Felicity's fifth great grandfather.
