Notes

There are two entries in the IGI for children of James Larby christened in Frensham (but no mother given) - James on 3 March 1680 and Sarah on 22 March 1688. Were these the same James but a previous wife who died around Sarah's birth?

Entry in the IGI for the marriage of James Larby and Mary Greuat on 27 February 1689 at Thursley, Surrey. The same information is in West Surrey Family History Society Surrey Marriages except Mary's surname is Grevat.

Monique Jones has an entry for James Larby born about 1668 in Frensham, Surrey, his marriage to Mary Grevatt in 1689 in Thursley, Surrey, and seven children (John, James, Sarah, two Mary's Thomas and Richard). From the birth of his wife Mary I think he must have been born around 1659. This also ties in with an earlier marriage.

Jill Gleeson has an entry for the marriage of James Larby and Mary Grueat on 27 February 1689 in Thursley, and two children (Thomas and Mary).

The entries Mary, Thomas and John in Ancestry Haslemere Parish Registers, 1573-1812 for the children Mary, Thomas and John indicate they were living in Frensham although the christenings/burial were at Haslemere. This implies they were living in the Pitfold Tything of Frensham, Haslemere church being very much closer than Frensham church. However Richard was born and buried in Frensham in 1702. A year later Mary was christened in Haslemere. Did the family move?
