In the 1841 census as Sarah Keese (sic - in the index, Keene on the original) aged 80, not born in Surrey, of independent means, and living with James Bakes (grandson?), Mary Bakes (great granddaughter?), George Hammons (aged 14, born in Surrey and a male servant) and Fredrick Smith (aged 12, born in Surrey and a male servant), and living separately but in the same house as her son-in-law (Richard Baker and her daughter Frances and family at Upper West End, Frensham, Surrey.
