Notes

I cannot find an entry for her Registration of Birth.

Christening of Ellen Hardy in the IGI on 28 October 1838 in Witley, Surrey, mother Charlotte Hardy, and her death on 30 December 1850. However I believe this death is an error and refers to the daughter of George and Harriet Hardy christened on 3 November 1839 in Witley, otherwise the 1851 and 1871 census entries do not make sense. the same information is Ancestry England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975.
