There is an entry in FreeBMD for the birth of Johnson Greaves (sic) in Richmond Yk in April-June 1842 (24 457) with three children (Lucy, Isabella and Caroline) registered with the same surname before and not after, and two children with surname Grieves (Jane Hannah and James) born afterwards and three with surname Grevison (Sarah, Eleanor and Ralph) also born after, but not neccessarily all from the same family.
