Entry in Ancestry Surrey, England, Church of England Baptisms, 1813-1921 for Alice Glaysher on 7 September 1890 at St John the Evangelist, Churt, parents George and Harriet Glaysher. "Page 51 Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Churt in the County of Surrey in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and ninety - ninety-one [...] 1890 Sept 7th No. 402 Alice [parents] George [a] Labourer & Harriet Glaysher of Headley".

In the 1891 census as Alice Glaysher aged 8 months, born in Headley, Hampshire, and living with her parents (George and Harriett) and two sisters (Ann and Kate) in Barford, Headley, Hampshire.

Her two brothers were registered in October-December 1892 baptised 1 January 1893 and registered January-March 1894 both in Alton, and baptised 1 April 1894 both at St John the Evangelist, Churt, and her sister was born 4 August 1896 in Barford and baptised 4 October 1896 at St John the Evangelist, Churt. Her brother was born in June 1899 in Barford, her mother died on 21 July 1899 in Barford, her brother was privately baptised on 22 July 1899 at St John the Evangelist, Churt and received into the Church on 1 October, and her mother was buried on 24 July 1899 at All Saints, Headley.

In the 1901 census as Alice Glarpher (sic - in the index, original illegible) aged 11, born in Headley, Hampshire, and living with her grandparents (Frank and Elizabeth Glarpher (sic)) and sister (Bertha) in Whitmore, Headley, Hampshire. Her widowed father was living with his two sons (Frank and Sidney) and daughter (Kate) in Barford, Headley.

In the 1911 census as Alice Glaysher aged 21, born in Churt, Surrey, single, and a domestic house palourmaid living with Edwin Alexander Abbott (aged 39, born in Upton, Essex and living on private means), his wife (Catherine Maud aged 39, born in Portesham, Dorset, married for ten years with no children, and living on private means), and two other servants (Frank Cox aged 29, born in Otterbourne, Hampshire, and a groom, and his wife Helen Cox aged 34, born in Hindon, Wiltshire, married for 3 years with no children, and a domestc cook) in twelve rooms at Beefolds, Churt, Farnham, Surrey.

She was a witness at the marriage of Ann Yarney (her sister) and John Fletcher on 13 November 1920 at St Thomas on the Bourne.

There are five entries in Ancestry Surrey, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1945 for Alice Martin address 2 Council Cottages changing to 2 Parkhurst Cottages in 1935, Churt, Frensham, Farnham from 1929 to 1935 (the same address as her father in 1927), other occupants Alfred and Kate Deadman (brother-in-law and sister?), Frederick Deadman (nephew?) from 1932 to 1934, Gwendoline Deadman (neice?) in 1934, and Ronald Deadman (nephew?) in 1935.

I cannot locate her in the 1939 England and Wales Register.

Relationship

Alice Glaysher was the great grandneice of James Glaysher, husband of Frances Fullick, my second great grandaunt.
