(Note that this is now Green Lane Cottages, Churt).

On the death of her mother, my father wanted them to live at Fairfield behind Ingledene, but this caused a rift in the family. There was a still born buried in the woods by my father. His son was born in Churton 21 January 1941.

He was in the airforce during the war and was abroad.

Afterwards he was a painter working for Ernest Croucher.

Relationship

Frederick George Deadman was the husband of Ruth Croucher, my aunt. He was also the brother of Sylvia Irene Deadman, wife of Leonard Croucher, brother of his wife, and he was also the second great grandnephew of Harriet Dudman, wife of Charles Croucher, my second great grandfather.
