"Page 14 Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Churt in the County of Surrey in the Year One thousand eight hundred and seventy four [...] 1874 born April 1 bap May 17 No. 111 Kate, parents Henry, [a] labourer, and Martha Fullick [of] Churt."

In the 1881 census as Kate Fullock (sic - in the index, Fullick on the original) aged 7, born in Frensham, employed as a farm worker, and living in Churt with her parents (Henry and Martha), four brothers Arthur, Frederick, James and Samuel) and two sisters (Ellen and Lilly - this was Lilly Hurst her neice, daughter of Mary Anne). I assume this was at Copse/Coppice Cottage.

In 1891 census aged 17, born in Frensham, single, no stated employment and living with her parents (Henry and Martha), four brothers (Arthur, George, James and William), sister (Ellen) and niece (Lilly) at Simmond Stone, Headley. I assume this was at Field House, Bacon Lane.

"Page 249 1896 Marriage solemnized at the parish church in the parish of Headley in the County of Southampton [No.] 497 December 12 Alfred James Hutchings [aged] 23, [a] Bachelor [and] Miller [of] Frensham, [father] James Hutchings, [a] stockman, [and] Kate Fullick [aged] 22, [a] Spinster [of] Field House, Headley, [father] Henry Fullick, [a] Labourer. Married in the parish church after banns according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church in the presence of us, James Croucher and Ellen Fullick". This was her sister and my grandparents.

In the 1901 census as Kate Hutching (sic - in the index, Hutchings on the original) aged 27, born in Frensham, and living with her husband (Alfred J), son (William J) and daughter Florence K), and a boarder James W Dedman (aged 42, born in Haslemere, single and employed as an ordinary agricultural labourer) at 2 The Street, Frensham, Surrey.

Kate and her husband were witnesses at the marriage of her brother George to Louisa Richardson at All Saints, Headley on 14 May 1910.

In the 1911 census as Kate Hutchings aged 37, born in Churt, Surrey, married for 14 years with two children both living, and living with her husband (Alfred James), son (William James) and daughter (Florence Kate) in five rooms in The Street, Frensham, Farnham.

Extract from Farnham Herald, date unknown, headed School Friends at 90 so circa 1964 "[...] once a year goes by car to Cobham near Gravesend to visit her daughter Mrs Epps. She lives with her son and daughter-in-law, Mrs. W Hutchings, at Willey Mill. Her maiden name was Fullick and before her marriage oto Mr. A. J. Hutchings she lived for 32 years at Frensham where her husband was roller man at Frensham Mill. She remembers working there during the first World War for the wage of 4d. an hour. She celebrated her golden wedding 15 years ago, and her husband died three years later. As a younger woman she was in service at Broomleaf Farm, Farnham and on her half-day used to walk the six miles to Churt and back. She is the youngest of her family of eight brothers and three sisters and the only one surviving."
