There is an entry in Ancestry Public Member Trees for George Deadman born in 1848 in Dockenfield, Hampshire. parents Stephen and Licy Deadman, and a similar one putting the birth in 1847. Another entry gives his birth in Farnham, Surrey in 1849, parents Stephen and Lucy Deadman, his marriage to Ann Gardner in Guildford, Surrey in April 1869, six children and his death in Farnham, Surrey in 1911 (marriage and death are both incorrect). A similar entry gives the marriage in Farnham, Surrey on 29 November 1873.

Relationship

George Deadman was the grandnephew of Harriet Deadman, wife of Charles Croucher, my second great grandfather, and grandfather of Frederick George Deadman, husband of Ruth Croucher, my aunt, and of Sylvia Irene Deadman, wife of Leonard Croucher, my uncle.
