Birth of Emily Croucher in FreeBMD in April-June 1874 in Farnham (2A 116). According to my father's records she was born on 30 April 1874.
Entry in Ancestry Surrey, England, Church of England Baptisms, 1813-1917 for Emily Croucher baptised 14 June 1874 at Churt, St John the Evangelist, with Rushmoor, parents John and Elizabeth Roucher (sic). "Page 14 Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Churt in the County of Surrey in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy four [...] 1874 born Ap 31st [sic] 74 bap June 14th Emily [parents] John, [a] Labourer, & Elizabeth Croucher [of] Churt".
Her brother was born on 17 January 1877 at Keepers/Pond Cottage, Churt, registered in January-March 1877 in Farnham, and baptised on 11 March 1877 at St John the Evangelist, Churt.
In the 1881 census as Emily Croucher aged 6, born in Churt, Surrey and living with her parents (John and Elizabeth), and two brothers (Charles and Ernest) at Keepers Cottage, Frensham, Surrey (this would have to be the same as Pond End and Pond Cottage for my fathers records to be correct).
In the 1891 census as Emily Croucher aged 18, born in Churt, Surrey, single, employed as a general domestic servant and living with Edgar Lyne (aged 32, born in London and employed as a brushmaker), his wife (Elizabeth F aged 31 and born in Clapham, Surrey), their two children (Elizabath aged 1, and an unnamed son aged 1 month, both born in Tooting), a visitor (Eliza Copland aged 43, born in Bemerton, Middlesex, single and living on her own means) and one other servant (Emily Galer aged 47, born in Wolverton, Buckinghamshire, married and a monthly nurse) at Athal, Longley Road, Tooting Graveney, London.
She emigrated to the USA in 1897 or 1898.
In the 1900 census as Emily Croucher aged 28, born in April 1972 in England, immigrated in 1897, single and a servant living with Joseph L Thorp (aged 47, born in New York and a lawyer), his wife (Annie R aged 44 and born in Massachusetts), his five daughters (Alice A aged 12, Amelia C aged 10, Erica aged 9, Annie L aged 6 and Priscilla A aged 3, all born in Massachusetts, and three other servants (Mary Carney aged 39 and born in Ireland, Georgiana Gales aged 47 and born in England, both single, and Josephine Evans aged 33, born in Massachusetts, widowed with a living child) at 115 Battle Street, Cambridge Ward 1, Middlesex, Massachusetts.

From her husband's entries in Ancestry Massachusetts City Directories for Westborough, she was living at 66 South in 1911, Searles Court in 1913, Searles Place in 1915, 1918, 1921 and 1923.
I cannot locate the family in the 1920 census.
Entry in Ancestry Massachusetts, U.S., Death Index, 1901-1980 for Emily Teasdale in 1929 in Westborough (82 536 87) but on the original there is also an entry for Emily Croucher (Croucher) Teasdale died in Milford (49 42 87) which does not appear to have been indexed.

There is an entry in Ancestry Notice Boards for Robert Teasdale which states Cornelius was his son who married Emily Croughter (sic) on 12 December 1907 in Westborough, Worcester, Massachusetts - her date of birth is given as 10 May 1876 in England, and her date of death as 14 March 1929, Westborough.
