Christening of David Clemeshaw in the IGI on 21 October 1727 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, father Tho Clemeshaw. The same information is in Ancestry England, Select Births and Christenings, 1538-1975.

I cannot find an entry for his marriage - his wife's name comes from his childrens' baptisms.

There is an entry in Harrogate People and Places for the will of Thomas Clemishaw a linen weaver of Harrogate dated 5 October 1757 which includes "To my son John Clemishaw the inclosed ground belonging to the Harrogate Chapel and now in my possession.", probate granted 8 January 1762.

All the children were christened in Pannal.

He may have been the David Clemishaw who witnessed the will of Thomas Wilkinson, butcher of the parish of Pannal, dated 11 th November 1784 in Harrogate People and Places

"All my real estate occupied by myself and Joseph Downham to my wife Alice Wilkinson
At her death the same to my children, Thomas Wilkinson, Henry Wilkinson, Bartholomew Wilkinson, John Wilkinson, Elizabeth Lamb, wife of William Lamb, Mathew Wilkinson, Mary Wilkinson, Jane Wilkinson, Alice Wilkinson, and Joseph Wilkinson.
To my son Henry £20.
To my grandsons, William Wilkinson, Thomas Wilkinson, and Samuel Wilkinson, one guinea each when they reach 21.
All my goods and chattels, and personal estate to my wife, whom I appoint executrix.

The will of Thomas Clemishaw in Harrogate People and Places dated 5 October 1757 states he was a linen weaver of Harrogate, and he left

To my son John Clemishaw the inclosed ground belonging to the Harrogate Chapel and now in my possession.
To my wife Elizabeth Clemishaw the cottage house, known as Candler House, and land adjoining, in Bilton with Harrogate.
At her death, the same to my son David Clemishaw, chargeable with £60 amongst my three children, John Clemishaw, Sarah Clemishaw, and Mary Clemishaw.
Residue of my goods, chattels and personal estate to my wife Elizabeth, whom I appoint Executrix.

Witnesses : Richard Lund, John Dearlove, James Gerrard
Probate was granted on 8th January 1762.

"Division of Claro in the West Riding of Yorkshire For the Town of Pannal in the said Division. An Afsement made in pursuance of an Act of Parliment pafsed in the 26th Year of his Majestry's Reign for granting an Aid to his Majestry by a Landtax raised in Great Britain for the Service of the Year 1786 [Owner] Wm Bentley [Occupier] David Clemishaw [Afsesment] "".12.6" [12s 6d].

There is an entry in Harrogate People and Places for David Clemitshaw a linen weaver of Harrogate for an Admon Bond for £32 on 12th June 1799 for Mary Clemitshaw of Harrogate, Widow and Thomas Kidd of Pannal, Farmer. The effects were valued as under £17 as appraised by Robert Mitton, W Dineley, and John Dearlove on 7th January 1799.
