Marriage of Mary Cleere aged 30 and Thomas Smith aged 30 in the IGI on 18 December 1654 in Binsted near Alton, Hampshire. The same information is also in Ancestry England, Select Marriages, 1538–1973. There is also a submitted entry in the IGI for the marriage of Mary Cleere aged 30 and Thomas Smyth on 18 December 1654 in Elsted, Sussex. Another two submitted entries give the marriage of Mary Clere and Thomas Smith on 3 December 1654 in Headley, Hampshire. However there are no entries in the Sussex Family History Group Sussex Marriage Index or in the West Surrey Family History Group Surrey Marriage Index (for Elstead, Surrey).
There is an entry in Headley Marriages for Mary Cleere (Clear) of Headley aged 20 and Thomas Smyth (Smith) of Kingsley by Edward Heighes Esq JP in December 1654. There are only a few which specify the age (should this be 30) and who performed the marriage.
