I cannot find an entry for her christening, but there were Chesteney's in North Creake from 1644.

There are three submitted entries in the IGI for the marriage of Alice Chesteney on 14 October 1793 in North Creake, Norfolk. Two give her husband as James Tuck, one of which lists four children (excluding John), and the third gives her husband as John Tuck. All three give her birth in about 1772 in North Creake.

Her daughter Rose was christened on the same day but was buried 2 August.

Paul Durrant gives the birth of Alice Chesteney in about July 1770, her marriage to John Tuck on 14 October 1793 in North Creake, two children Ann and Rose, and her death before 1803. Joseph Tuck (given as born 1805) and two Matthew Tucks (in 1816 and 1817) are given as the children of Mary Flutter, John's second or third wife.

North Creake is 7 miles NW of Fakenham on B1355.
