Moved back to Newhaven and opened a cycle shop in Lewes. 10 years later, moved with Joan to Ripe. Later, moved to Barrowway Drove near Downham Market, Norfolk, and ran post office stores. Moved to Tenbury Wells then Leominster. After Joan’s death he moved to 4 Sylvan Close, Coleford, Glos. Very intelligent; very nice; but hard of hearing. Loved boating, dogs, and ham radios. Died at 88.
Lewis George Blunden was the father of Linda H Blunden, wife of Philip Walter Randall, my second cousin.
