Christening of Thomas Baker in the IGI on 12 April 1797 in Headley, Hampshire, parents John and Hannah Baker. The same information is in Headley Baptisms.
Marriage of Thomas Baker and Sarah Collyer in the IGI on 24 August 1825 in Frensham, Surrey. The same information is in the West Surrey Family History Society Surrey Marriage index adding both were of this parish and it was by banns.
The first two children were born in Frensham, the next three in Churt and the last two in Elstead so they moved there about 1838.
In the 1841 census as Thomas Baker aged 40, born in Surrey, a farmer and living with Sarah (wife?), George, Richard, Thomas and William (sons?), and Fanny and Hannah (daughters?) at Elstead, Surrey.
Not in the 1851 Ancestry Census (a large part of rural Elstead is missing), but is in the 1851 West Surrey Family History Society census as Thomas Baker aged 54, born in Headley, and living with his wife (Sarah), son (Edward) and daughter (Fanny) in Elstead.
In the 1861 census as Thomas Baker aged 62, born in Headley, Hampshire, a farmer of 14 acres, and living with his wife (Sarah), son (Edward), daughter (Fanny), two grandsons (Fredrick and George Baker), and a visitor (William Chandler aged 17, born in Bedfordshire, single and a journeyman potter in earthenware) in Frensham. I am not sure who the parents of the grandsons are - there are entries in the IGI for their christening at Elstead but no parents are given. I have assumed they are the children of Hannah (confirmed by Betty Baker in an email).
Death of Thomas Baker in FreeBMD in July-September 1870 aged 73 in Farnham (2a 78).
Ann Collyer and David Pink have entries in Ancestry Public Member trees for Thomas Baker born 1797 in Headley, Hampshire, his marriage to Sarah Levett on 24 August (in Churt according to Ann Collyer and in Headley according to David Pink) and the seven children. Ron Baker adds his parents as John and Hannah Baker, the 1841 and 1861 census and his death in Farnham in July-August 1870.
In Bakers of Headley it states "John’s third child by his first marriage, Thomas, was born in 1797. On 24 August 1825 he married Sarah Collyer at Frensham."
Thomas Baker was my half second great granduncle.
