In the 1891 census as George W Baker aged 16, born in Blackfiears (sic in the index - Blackfriars on the original) London, employed as a tailors apprentice, and living with his widowed mother in 2 rooms at 32 Gladstone Street, Wimbledon, Surrey. Another family was living at the same address.
