"In/Affectionate Remembrance of/Joseph Foster/Who died April 11th 1890/Aged 72 years/Be ye also ready for in such/an hour as ye think not the/Son of Man cometh/Also Mary, wife of the above/who died August 24th 1852/aged 33 years/and interred at Bethel Chapel, Wortley/also Martha, wife of the above/who died July 4th 1898/in the 79th year of her age./ Errected to the memory of/Joseph Foster as a tribute/by his fellow/workers at Farnley Low/Mills where he wasemployed/for 50 years.//Also their daughter/Ann Robinson/ who died December 19th/1935/aged 77 years//And of their son-in-law/Edwin Robinson, who died August 26th/1927/aged 67 years. " According to Mona Chadwick the grave also contains an infant, Emily Robinson, aged 3 of Armley interred November 18th 1901.
