Edmonton was in Middlesex but included Cheshunt, Hertfordshire until 1 October 1939 when it was transfered to Ware and was never part of Enfield so he didn't die in Cheshunt which is still in Hertfordshire. Chase Farm hospital is some 7 miles SW of Cheshunt and was a care home for elderly people.

Relationship

Alfred William Andrews was the brother of Edith Mary Andrews, wife of George Andrew Henry Barton, second cousin once removed of Dennis Alfred Barton, my brother-in-law.
