Her first four children were born in Hunworth between 1899 and 1905, and last two in Letheringsett in 1908 and 1909.

In the 1911 census as Edith Chapman aged 37, born in Roughton, Norfolk, married for 13 years with six children all still living, and living with her husband (Albert Edward), five sons (Albert, James, John, Ronald and Stanley) and daughter (Doris) and a boarder (Alfred Yarham aged 60, born in Edgefield, Norfolk, widowed and a farm labourer) in four rooms at Letheringsett near Holt, Norfolk.

Her daughter was born in Letheringsett in 1917.

In the 1939 England and Wales Register as Edith M Chapman, born on 25 January 1875, married, and living at West Barsham Near Lodge, Walsingham, Norfolk, other occupants Albert E Chapman (husband?), Stanley C G Chapman (son?), and Florence D Chapman (daughter?).

Her husband died in Fakenham in 1945.
