Obituary of Timothy John Woods in the care of Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tim at his home in his 50th year. He was predeceased by his beloved son, Barrett Mason Woods (2009). Much loved son to Tim Woods and Wanda Bailey and Joan and Jim Gordon. He will be dearly missed by his step siblings Jennifer and Greg and by his extended family and many, many close friends. During his journey Tim fought with determination, courage and strength to stay alive. He fought like a tiger. He was an inspiration to all. He loved his Harley and time spent at the cottage with his friends. He thoroughly enjoyed his work and work colleagues at CSL Group Landscaping. Special thanks go to his cousin Andrew and work friends Jay, Jackson and Rhonda for being there for Tim. We are grateful to Dr. Meyer and Dr. Gupta and their staffs who worked so diligently to give Tim every chance to live. Knowing Tim and his journey we are reminded of this quote: “Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” Because that is what he did. In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All guests must RSVP for the Visitation in advance by calling the funeral home at 905-387-2111. Visitation will be held at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Tim’s 50th birthday, Tuesday April 6th from 6-9 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Neighbour to Neighbour or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by his family. Friends are invited to share a memory or leave a condolence for his family by visiting cresmountfennellchapel.com. Once the world gets back on track we will hold a celebration of Tim’s life at one of his favourite bars. Then we can all get together and cheer our Tim. “Time is your most valuable asset and gift. Please share and spend wisely.” We will miss you Little Timmy.
