In the 1851 census as Ann Welch (sic - on the original) aged 13, born in Codicote, Hertfordshire, and living with her parents (James and Ann), two brothers (John and William), and four sisters (Edey, Jane, Lydia and Rebecca) and a lodger (Elizabeth Hopkins aged 15 and born in Coldicate, Herfordshire) in Coldicote, Hertfordshire.
I cannot locate her in the 1861 census but she was not with her parents.

In the 1901 census as Annie Mepham aged 64, born in Pulmer Water, Hertfordshire, and living with her husband (George), married daughter (Hannah Gregory), son-in-law (Francis Gregory) and two granddaughters (Edith and Jessie Gregory) in four rooms at 12 Malden Road, St Pancras, London. Another family shared this address.
In the 1911 census as Ann Mepham aged 74, born in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, married for 46 years with eleven children, one having died, and living with her husband (George) and grandson (Thomas E) at 14 Fladbury Road, South Tottenham, Middlesex.
