Hi, my name's Charlotte, and I am a female fitness and lifestyle coach based in the Chichester, West Sussex area. Unlike many other fitness professionals, I was never interested in keeping active and eating healthily, I loved all junk foods and hated moving much more than I had to. I spent most of my childhood, teens and early twenties overweight, and it wasn't until January 2013 that I decided I needed to make a change.
I have made every mistake under the sun along the way, however, the journey my change of lifestyle has taken me on has been an exciting one! I now have a balanced relationship with food and exercise, and have managed to maintain a good physique, whilst still going out for meals with friends and family, having a pizza and indulging in ice cream every now and then.
My 2013 New Years resolution has become my passion and I am incredibly enthusiastic to educate, and motivate you too on how to change your life for good. No more yo-yo dieting, no more unused gym memberships or fear of working out.
I will help you to become a healthier, fitter and happier you by working closely with you and going the extra mile to get you the results you deserve!
Services
I own a private personal training facility in Sidlesham, near Chichester, which aims to serve those living in and around the Manhood peninsular - from Selsey, to Itchenor, Bracklesham and the Wittering's, through to Chichester, Pagham and Aldwick. From here, I carry out private one to one, or one to two-four training sessions. Equipped with the best, brand new, kit around - from barbells to cables, kettlebells, dumbbells and a self propelled treadmill - sessions will be tailored to you and your goals, which we set together at the start of each training block to ensure you are achieving the best results you can and become the best version of you!
I also regularly run photoshoot / shred challenges, where a group of like minded individuals get together for 3 months (12 weeks) and, as a group, work together to keep each other motivated and driven whilst losing weight and toning up for a photoshoot at the end. The first "challenge" I ran had 8 people sign up and collectively they lost a whopping 80.8kg / 12 stone 10lbs - an entire human!! If you are looking to set a goal and work towards something then please get in touch to see when the next challenge will be running.
The final service I offer is a hybrid training package - personal training is often too expensive for many people, but they still need the accountability and knowledge of a coach, therefore, my hybrid service gives you all of the benefits of personal training for half the price. You will receive one 1:1 training session per month, weekly check ins, a training plan to follow for in the gym or at home which is tailored to your goals, as well as help with your nutrition advice.
I am also a fully qualified pre and post natal coach - if you are looking to exercise safely throughout your pregnancy, or interested in returning to exercise after birth, I am available to help you. The beauty of the studio also means that you can bring your new bundle of joy with you and not have to worry about childcare!
Whichever service you decide to go for, throughout our time working together I will teach you how to incorporate exercise and good nutrition practices into every day life so that you can continue on your journey with confidence and pride.
Charlotte Emma K Torrance was the daughter of Patricia A Walder, mother of Mark Jason Horstead, husband of Caroline S Fullick, my fifth cousin once removed.
