Another family lived in three rooms at the same address.
In the 1911 census as John Willie Thirlaway aged 16, born in Gateshead, Durham, single and an apprentice patternmaker, and living with his parents (Thomas and Margaret), and two sisters (Annie Jane and Lily) in four rooms at 217 Eastbourne Avenue, Gateshead, Durham.
His mother died in Gateshead in January-March 1912.
I cannot locate him in the 1921 census but he was not living with his father and sisters.

His wife died in July-September 1956 in Durham NE.
