I believe that the Martha Hamilton aged 1 in the 1881 census was Arthur Hamilton born 26 May 1880 - the 1911 census states three children all still living, and there is no mention of Martha after 1881. There is no registration for Martha in 1880 whereas there is a registration for Arthur in April-June 1880 in Gateshead.
